CRIMINAL MATTERS

Plea/Non-Issue Docket Times
Plea and Non-issue dockets are held on Tuesdays at 9:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 1:30 p.m. Criminal cases must be reset in person on the assigned court date. The Court does not reschedule court dates by telephone or fax.

Trial Times
Jury Trials are held on Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. All defendants must appear in person on the assigned trial date. The Court does not reschedule court dates by telephone or fax.

Motions and Revocation Dockets
Motions and Revocation dockets are heard on Fridays at 9:00 A.M. Please contact Ms. Regina G. Green, Court Coordinator, at (832) 471-2822 or by email at regina.green@fortbendcountytx.gov  to schedule a hearing.

Jail Docket
The Jail Arraignment Docket is heard by Associate Judge Lewis White at the Fort Bend County Jail courtroom on Wednesdays at 8:30 A.M. The deadline for attorneys to schedule an inmate on the docket is, without exception, at 4:00 PM on the Monday preceding Wednesday's docket. Please contact Ms. Lisa Wallingford, Court Coordinator, by email at lisa.wallingford@fortbendcountytx.gov to schedule a hearing.

Attorneys desiring to obtain court appointments must first view the video, How to Practice in Fort Bend County. Please contact Mr. Andrew Bennett, Law Librarian, at 281-341-3718 to schedule an appointment. After you have viewed the video, you may contact Regina G. Green, Court Coordinator at 281-633-7415 to schedule a time to visit with Judge Morales.

Court Appointed Attorneys
In accordance with the County Courts at Law’s recent policy changes regarding attorney fee vouchers, all attorneys will electronically submit their fee vouchers utilizing click on the Court Appointed Attorney's link.
