Daisy Torres has served in the Fort Bend County District Clerks Office since April 06, 2015. Mrs. Torres began her journey as a Criminal Clerk for the 240th Judicial District Court where she excelled on her assigned duties. As a Criminal Clerk, Mrs. Torres handled court documents, issued warrants, issued subpoenas, entered all mail and promptly worked on Indictments. Mrs. Torres was able to use her bilingual skills to further advance her career by becoming a passport agent and offering excellent customer service all while juggling her clerk duties. In June 2018, Mrs. Torres was promoted to become the Administrative Services Coordinator. Her Duties include, managing the office Budget, purchasing all the equipment and supplies needed for the office and recommending and processing all budget transfers. Mrs. Torres updates and maintains all inventory and manages the employee fund. In order to better serve the residents of Fort Bend County, Mrs. Torres prepares and coordinates dates for the monthly staff meetings. Mrs. Torres appears before Commissioners Court as needed to further discuss office business. In the absence of her colleague she process payroll, assures all new hires are processed properly and makes sure travel arrangements are prepared accordingly.   Mrs. Torres takes pride in working at the District Clerks Office and hopes to continue her journey for many years to come.
