Laraib Kadeer is the office manager at the Fort Bend County District Clerk’s Office. Ms. Kadeer came to the District Clerk’s Office in January 2019, with a wealth of experience which she acquired after working for many years as a legal assistant handling both civil and criminal caseloads. Ms. Kadeer was promoted to office manager from serving as a criminal clerk for the 458th Judicial District Court where she processed warrants, issued subpoenas, initiated and dismissed criminal cases, and managed case files in Odyssey, the case management system. Ms. Kadeer is over Human Resources, payroll, travel and risk management claims. Ms. Kadeer offers exceptional service to our customers as she is polylingual and speaks 4 languages fluently; Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and English.
Ms. Kadeer along with the administrative services coordinator keeps record of inventory and assists with purchasing and receiving items. Along with the administrative services coordinator Ms. Kadeer recommends equipment purchases and repairs that are vital to office operation. Ms. Kadeer takes great pleasure in making certain that things run smoothly and effectively for our new hires and processes payroll for all employees at the district clerk’s Office. Ms. Kadeer assembles and greets jurors once a week in preparation for jury trials. Ms. Kadeer is also in charge of making sure travel arrangements are booked in advance for office executives. In the absence of the district clerk, Ms. Kadeer was chosen to serve as the backup designee to the Fort Bend County Bail Bond Board.
