Fort Bend Transit is undertaking a Transit Feasibility Study in the Fulshear area to explore mobility options for the community for the next 20 years. This study is scheduled for completion in spring 2020 and will complement other efforts undertaken by the City of Fulshear to plan for the community’s growth and development.

The Transit Study will identify what the Fulshear area population would like to see in transportation improvements that will enhance the ability to travel in and out of the city. The study is exploratory, with no preconceived assumptions.   Potential improvements may include express bus and commuter options to major employment centers, local bus service within Fulshear, as well as transit service to and from surrounding communities.

Two separate public meetings are planned as part of the Study process to gather input and feedback.  The first public meeting was held Thursday, January 30, 2020, at the Irene Stern Center.  If you were unable to attend, all presentation items are posted to our website.  We are currently under a public comment period, which is your opportunity to provide comments on the Fulshear Transit Feasibility Study.  Throughout the comment period, written comments and questions may be submitted to Tennille Jones, Community Relations Manager, 301 Jackson Street, Richmond, TX 77469, or via email to Transit@fortbendcountytx.gov. Comments will be accepted until Sunday, March 1, 2020, at 5 pm.

We value your time and your input, so please accept our appreciation for your assistance in advance.
