Chief Frank Cempa Jr. manages the daily operations of the Precinct 1 Constable’s Office and reports to Constable Mike Beard. Chief Cempa is a 4th generation public servant in his family, has 28 years of law enforcement experience, and possesses a Master Peace Officer certification through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement. Chief Cempa has worked in Emergency Communications, Jail and Patrol Divisions during his career. He was named 2003 Patrol Deputy of Year at the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. Chief Cempa graduated from the University of Houston- Downtown earning a Bachelor of Science Degree and is a 2018 FBI LEEDA Trilogy Leadership Award recipient.


Lieutenant Cory Hansen

Lieutenant Cory Hansen is primarily responsible for the training of personnel, maintaining our L3 dash and body worn camera systems, issues assignments to the Reserve Deputy Unit and supervises the Sergeants. He also assists in conducting background and internal affairs investigations. Lieutenant Hansen is an Advanced Peace Officer through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and has over ten years of experience. Lieutenant Hansen has previously served at the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office where he worked in the Jail, Patrol and Criminal Investigations Divisions.


Bennie Freeze"

Sergeant Bennie Freeze supervises the Warrant Division, Alternative Learning Centers, Juvenile Detention, Justice of the Peace 1-1 & 1-2 security and firearms training.  Sergeant Freeze is a 2nd generation Texas Peace Officer with over 18 years of law enforcement experience and has a Master Peace Officer certification through the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.  During his tenure in law enforcement, Sergeant Freeze has worked in the Jail and Patrol Divisions. 


Sergeant Ervin Dittfurth

Sergeant Ervin Dittfurth supervises the Civil Division and Writ Unit. Sergeant Dittfurth is a Master Peace Officer with the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement and has 38 years of law enforcement experience. Sergeant Dittfurth earned an Associates of Applied Science Degree through Wharton County Junior College and has a Civil Process Proficiency Certificate.
