As a reminder The Texas Supreme Court issued an order on June 14, 2016 that requires all Texas attorneys provide the State Bar of Texas with an email address for use in the statewide e-filing system and other communications. RULE 21. FILING AND SERVING PLEADINGS AND MOTIONS
FORT BEND COUNTY CLERK
Pursuant to the Supreme Court Order - Misc. Docket No. 15-9205, an order adopting statewide rules governing electronic filing in criminal cases has been adopted by the Fort Bend County Court at Law Courts, effective January 26, 2017.
Criminal electronic filing with the County Clerk's office is now mandatory as of July 1, 2017. If you need assistance with e-filing, please see the FAQ link below or contact the County Clerk's office.

As of January 1, 2014, attorneys filing civil and probate documents including original petitions, applications, answers, request for service or process or any other court matter with the Fort Bend County Clerk’s office are mandated by Supreme Court Order to file electronically.
You must select an electronic filing service provider – an EFSP who will submit your documents on your behalf through the State of Texas’ authorized electronic portal which is known as eFileTexas.gov.
