Lieutenant Budnik is the supervisor over the following sections within the Criminal Investigation Division. Lieutenant Budnik works with the Special Crimes Sergeant to continue our partnership with the Child Advocates Center. Lieutenant Budnik is also part of the Fort Bend County Crime Stoppers serving in the role as Law enforcement liaison.
Financial crimes, Identity Theft, Credit/Debit card abuse, Thefts with the intent to defraud.

Assaults involving family misdemeanors, and runaways.

Child abuse, Sexual Assaults of children, Adult online solicitation of children and possession of child pornography.

Lieutenant Whichard is in charge of Special Operations as assigned by the Executive Bureau.

Death Investigations, Robbery, Adult Assaults, Missing persons.
Burglary and Theft
Burglaries and felony thefts.
Misdemeanor’s and Auto Thefts
Burglary of motor vehicles, Auto thefts, and Auto Inspections.

Lieutenant William Boehnemann is the Administrative supervisor for the Identification Division. He is responsible for assisting the division commander with the coordination and supervision for this section:
- Crime Scene Unit
Latent print unit, Technology Forensics Unit, A.F.I.S (Automated fingerprint identification system), and I.B.I.S (Integrated ballistic identification system)
