Demand Response Service

Fort Bend County currently offers shared ride bus services to the citizens of Fort Bend County. The scheduled ride transportation service provides trips within Fort Bend County.

In order to schedule or cancel a ride you may call 866-751-TRIP between the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and ask for the “Fort Bend County Reservations.” Reservations can be made 30 days or up to 1 business day in advance of the appointment time. Be sure cancellations are received before 5:00pm on the prior business day of the scheduled trip. If passenger is not ready or decides not to go, the trip will be considered a “no show” trip. If a passenger receives six “no show” or "late-cancellation" trips in a ninety (90) day period, their services will results in a thirty (30) day suspension.

There are no transit services available on county holidays. Rides are typically scheduled for first “destination” drop-off by 8:00 AM and last pick-up will be no later than 5:00 PM. Repeat rides may be scheduled in advance. Rides will be accepted on a “time and space” available basis.

Trip fares are $1.00 per person each way. Passengers must be ready 15 minutes before scheduled pick up time. This is a curb-to-curb service; however, persons with disabilities can request door-to-door service. All passengers must wear seat restraints. Seat restraints must be provided for children 40 lbs or less. Passengers 12 years or younger must be accompanied by another person 18 years or older. Individuals unable to independently travel safely or securely regardless of age must be accompanied by an assistant. Ticket Books

Exact change and tickets are accepted as fares. All fares are collected in the fare box upon boarding. If the fare is paid in cash, exact change is required. The drivers cannot make change. Ticket books are available for purchase at a 10% discounted rate. Tickets are non-refundable.
