John Bradley began his career as a firefighter in 1982 with the Katy Fire Department. He remained with them until 1988 when he left to work for the Victoria Fire Department.
During his tenure at Victoria, Mr. Bradley was promoted to Driver/Operator in 1992 and Lieutenant in 2002. He completed many training certifications and achieved many goals including: certified paramedic, fire inspector, arson investigator, hazmat tech, swift water team member, and high-angle rescue team member. He operated the evacuation hub during Hurricane Katrina and worked closely with the National Guard and many other divisions evacuating both persons and pets. In 2008, he was promoted to Fire Marshal for Victoria Fire Department and remained as such until he retired in 2011.
Mr. Bradley became a Safety Coordinator for a small oil field company in North Dakota for 6 months before returning to Texas to begin work as a Fire Inspector for both the South Montgomery County Fire Department and Montgomery County Fire Marshal’s Office.
He retired once again in 2016 and moved to Alaska. Later that same year, he returned to Texas and began working as an Inspector/Investigator for the Fort Bend County Fire Marshal’s Office.
