Holiday Closure Notice

Please be advised of our adjusted operating hours during the upcoming holiday season:
  • Thanksgiving Holiday
    • Wednesday, November 26 – Closing at 12:00 PM
    • Closed Thursday, November 27
    • Closed Friday, November 28
  • Christmas Holiday
    • Wednesday, December 24 – Closing at 12:00 PM
    • Closed Thursday, December 25
    • Closed Friday, December 26
  • New Year’s Day
    • Closed Thursday, January 1

Extended Office Hours for Property Tax Season

To better serve you during the busy property tax season, we are extending our office hours to make our team more accessible. Whether you have questions or need assistance with your payments, we are here to help. Extended Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM We will be operating on this schedule during the following dates: December: Dec 29th – Dec 31st January: Jan 2nd (Closed Jan 1st for New Year's Day) Late January: Jan 26th – Jan 30th February: Feb 2nd We look forward to assisting you!


Notice of Extended Operating Hours

To better serve our community, we are pleased to announce extended operating hours at all of our tax office locations. Effective Monday, August 11, 2025, our offices will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We hope these extended hours provide Fort Bend County residents with the additional time and flexibility needed to access our services.

POST-DATED CHECKS: The Tax Office deposits all checks upon receipt, regardless of the date written on the check.
