'Starting an Urban Farm' Webinar

Apr. 12, 2013, 3:30 - 6:00 AM
Location
Fort Bend County Extension Office

With our urban populations increasingly demanding access to a local food system, opportunities are ripe for start-up producers to help meet this demand.  If you are starting up, we invite you to come learn the basics.  If you are established, we invite you to come and learn some great ways to increase efficiencies and sales.

A satellite webinar will be hosted by the Texas A&M Department of Horticultural Sciences with Dr. Joe Masabni, State Vegetable Specialist on Friday, April 12, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  The event is facilitated by County Extension Agent, Boone Holladay, and is free of charge.

A light breakfast and refreshments will be served.  We do ask that you RSVP with Brandy at Brandy.Rader@ag.tamu.edu. or call 281-342-3034, ext. 7029.
