Passport Fair: Saturday, December 13, 2025 8:00 a.m - 12:00 p.m.

We are pleased to announce that on November 1, 2025, Docket Control Orders were implemented in the 387th District Court. For cases filed on or after November 1. 2025, thirty (30) days after the case is filed a Docket Control Order will automatically be attached to the case file and mailed to the litigants and/or their attorneys. A trial date shall be assigned to the case. The following shall apply:

1. Divorce with no Children: trial set 6 months after filing date.
2. Divorce with Children: trial date set 9 months after filing date.
3. Modifications m: trial set 9 months after filing date.

Parties may have Settlements/Agreements or Defaults proved up prior to the assigned trial date.
For all other cases, trials will be set by court.
All hearings will continue to be set on Schedulista.
Cases filed prior to November 1, 2025, will be assigned a trial date by the Court and manually issued a Docket Control Order.

To better serve our community, we are pleased to announce extended operating hours at all of our tax office locations. Effective Monday, August 11, 2025, our offices will be open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. We hope these extended hours provide Fort Bend County residents with the additional time and flexibility needed to access our services.

Starting February 1, 2025, the Fire Marshal’s mobile food inspection will take place at 1521 Eugene Heimann Cir. # 114, Richmond, TX 77469, in the parking lot. Mobile food vendor fire inspections will be every Wednesday starting at 8:00 am to 10:30 am.

The Juvenile Docket moves from Mondays to Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. on the First, Second and Fourth Wednesdays unless otherwise instructed by the Juvenile Probation Officer.

Beginning August 1, 2023, all plan submittals are required to be one (1) digital copy on a USB device. The USB device shall be formatted to be compatible with Bluebeam.

The plans shall be one continuous file and not individual files per sheet.

All contracts executed by Commissioners Court, regardless of the dollar amount, will require completion of Form 1295 "Certificate of interested Parties", per the new Government Code Statute §2252.908.
