Teen Safely Returned Home Thanks to Interagency Efforts

PRESS RELEASE Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office SHERIFF ERIC FAGAN MEDIA CONTACT: Michelle Domengoni 281-341-8738 office 832-278-9893 cell michelle.domengoni@fortbendcountytx.gov FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Oct. 12, 2023 Teen Safely Returned Home Thanks to Interagency Efforts (FORT BEND COUNTY, TEXAS) – In a collaborative effort with local authorities, a missing juvenile was located and safely returned to his family by Fort Bend County Sheriff Eric Fagan. On October 10, 2023, at approximately 10:00 PM, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office received a report of a missing juvenile. The teen was last seen around 11:00 AM in the 4100 block of Scenic Valley Ln., Sugar Land, Fort Bend County, Texas. On October 11, 2023, at approximately 7:00 PM, the teen was located in Houston, Texas and quickly returned home. The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office would like to make the public aware of the potential dangers that missing persons, particularly young adults and teens are susceptible to exploitation and trafficking. Due to the relatively quick location by our neighboring agency, these potential concerns were averted, resulting in a positive outcome. "We would like to thank Chief Troy Finner and the Houston Police Department for working with us to locate and secure the teen, which allowed for his safe return to his family," said Sheriff Fagan.
