County Judge KP George is looking for students, at the high school, undergraduate & graduate levels, to participate in government as part of his energetic, collaborative & innovative team. Interns must be committed to seeking out new and better ways for the office to connect with, & serve the County’s diverse neighborhoods, communities and constituents. Interns will gain public service experience in a wide variety of areas including public policy, communications, constituent services, social work, special events planning & community relations. Interns will be assigned to various Fort Bend County Judges Office staff based upon their abilities, experience, and interests. Individual supervision is provided by each County staff member. Regular meetings with the County Judge and staff as well as other professionals will offer interns additional opportunities to become engaged in ways to help address needs facing Fort Bend County.
