Storm water detention is typically required to mitigate any impact associated with new development in Fort Bend County. Storm water detention requirements can be found in FBCDCM, Sec. 6. If the proposed development is located within a MUD or LID they may already have provided detention capacity to accommodate development within their districts and you should contact their respective engineers for confirmation. Please note all storm water detention facilities must be designed to accommodate Atlas 14 rainfall.
