The Honorable Beverley McGrew Walker, Fort Bend County District Clerk, is pleased to provide our customers with the ability to research and access historical records electronically. The District Clerk's Records include historic Criminal, Civil, and Family Index and Minute Books, ranging from 1821-1980. CLICK HERE to begin your search.

SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE: CLICK HERE! You can now apply for routine service and expect to receive a passport in 4-6 weeks. You also have the option of paying an additional $60 for expedited service to receive your passport in 2-3 weeks. If you apply or renew now, you may experience significant delays for the return of your citizenship evidence documents (such as birth certificates or naturalization certificates). EMERGENCY APPOINTMENTS: To make an appointment at a PASSPORT AGENCY or CENTER for a life-or-death emergency, you must call the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778 (1-888-874-7793 TDD/TTY) on Monday- Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Eastern Time, except federal holidays. Call 202-647-4000 outside of these hours to make an appointment. Please remember: *All applicants must appear in person (including minors). Minors under the age of 16 must appear with both parents. If one parent is not available, a DS-3053 form or a notarized authorization from the absent parent and a copy of his/her identification (front and back) is required. The District Clerk Passport Acceptance Facility is provided for the convenience of our citizens. We are not required by law to provide this service. Therefore, we reserve both the right to refuse service and to close early due to a high volume of applicants. Please call 281-341-4515 to obtain updates or changes to the passport hours and to make an appointment. Note: Appointments will exclude holidays and emergency office closures. Make a Payment
To Make a Payment
Credit Card Payments:
1. Click the "Pay Here" button below
2. Complete all of the required fields. Please type your name or the company you work for in the "Business Name" field
3. Enter your cause number in the "Note" section BEFORE clicking "Pay" to process your payment
4. When the transaction receipt is received, click on "Full Transaction Receipt"
5. Click "Show Details"
6. Note your "Transaction Number" on your copy request or other document being filed to satisfy the payment
Please note: A Convenience Fee of $2.49 will be charged for all credit and debit card transactions.
(Please be advised that the fees are imposed by our credit card service provider and are beyond the control & authority of the District Clerk.)

Other Methods of Payment:
Money orders, cashiers checks, checks from law office accounts and insurance checks only. Out-of-state checks and personal checks are not accepted. Please show style and cause number on your remittance.

Refunds
Any refunded or voided credit card transaction will be returned to the customer, minus the convenience fee.
Returned Checks and Card Chargebacks
Returned Checks and Card Chargebacks may result in a fee of $30.00 that will be applied to the case or account.
Outstanding court costs or charges must be paid immediately with a money order, cashier's check or cash.
