The Texas Department of State Health Services reviews and ranks local registrar offices across the State of Texas. For their 2021 Survey, the State office gave the highest rank to the Fort Bend County Clerk’s Office commending their duties as local registrar. Among items noted were following best practices, compliance with statutes involving birth and death records, as well as timeliness and accuracy in the reporting of these records. Congratulations to staff and supervision for their dedication to serving our community and safeguarding all vital records in the custody of the County Clerk.
