Upcoming Election Information

On May 22, 2018, Fort Bend County will be conducting Primary Runoff elections for both the Republican and Democratic parties.

All registered voters in Fort Bend County will be eligible to participate in this election; however, voters who participated in the March 1, 2018 Primary Election may only receive a Runoff ballot for the same political party as they voted in that election. Voters who did not cast a ballot in the Primary Election may vote in either Party's Runoff.

There are two countywide contests on the Republican Runoff Ballot, County Treasurer and Judge of the County Court at Law #3.  Democrats have one countywide contest for Governor. In addition, Democrats in Congressional District 22, and Senate District 17 will have the opportunity to vote in runoffs for Congressman and State Senator. In Precinct 2, there is also a runoff for Justice of the Peace.

Early Voting begins on May 14, 2018 and ends on May 18, 2018. Fort Bend County will have eleven sites open from 7:00 A.M. until 7:00 P.M. during this week.
