Clinical Health Services

Immunization services are offered on a daily basis to residents of Fort Bend County. Clinical Health Services works with the Texas Department of State Health Services (DSHS) / Vaccines For Children (VFC) Program to address immunization needs within the community. Fort Bend County adheres to the most current recommended vaccination schedule provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Welcome

Fort Bend County Clinical Health Services Division ensures that Fort Bend County residents have access to available and affordable care in specific public health clinical areas. The core public health services that FBCCHS provides are prevention of vaccine preventable diseases in children and adults, prevention and treatment of latent and active tuberculosis, prevention and treatment of sexually transmitted infections including prophylaxis for HIV and linkage to care for residents living with HIV, and partnering with community stakeholders to provide education in the core areas of prevention.

The mission of Fort Bend County Clinical Health Services is to work in partnership with Fort Bend County residents to educate, promote and encourage optimum health through the provision of disease prevention services as well as intervention practices and treatments that will invariably promote physical, mental and social wellbeing.
