Community Invited to Attend Free Family Event Focused on Emergency Preparedness

WHAT:
Fort Bend County’s Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Management invites all media, families, and community members to the 2025 READY Fort Bend Expo — an exciting, family-friendly event designed to raise awareness about emergency preparedness. The expo will feature expert speakers, emergency vehicle displays, community response teams, and activities for kids.

Fort Bend County Pets hosts FREE spay/neuter

WHAT:
The Empty Shelter Project, in collaboration with Fort Bend PAWS, Fort Bend County Pets, and Rosenberg Animal Control & Shelter, is hosting a FREE Spay/Neuter Event for cats and dogs owned by residents of eligible zip codes. Services also include vaccinations and microchipping. More zip codes have now been added!
