Confirmation of Notices Mailed on July 12, 2019
In a continuing effort to accurately maintain the Fort Bend County voter rolls, the Office of Elections Administration has mailed over 23,000 notices to voters whose addresses have been flagged when the Election Office compared their voter database against that of the United States Postal Service. These voters will be receiving a yellow, postcard size, Confirmation Notice requesting them to update, or confirm, their registration address. The Notices were mailed to the address provided by the Postal Service, not to the address at which they are currently registered. To ensure that their ability to vote in future elections is not jeopardized, any voter receiving a confirmation should respond to it immediately.
Voters, who have been mailed Notices, have had their voter registration status placed on Suspense. They will be returned to Active status if they return the card and provide a current address within Fort Bend County. Voter who do not respond will remain on Suspense until after the November 2022 election, at which time their registration will be cancelled. Until that time voters may be reinstated to Active status by submitting a new registration form, updating their registration through DPS, or completing at registration form at a polling place. Those persons who have been placed on Suspense will still be able to vote through November 2022 if they complete a registration form at the polling place.

En un esfuerzo continuo por mantener con precisión las listas de electores del Condado de Fort Bend, la oficina de Administración Electoral ha enviado más de 23,000 avisos a los votantes de quien direcciones han sido marcadas cuando la oficina electoral comparar su base de datos de electores con del Servicio Postal de los Estado Unidos. Estos votantes recibirán un aviso de confirmación amarillo, de postal, solicitándoles que actualicen confirmen su dirección de registro. Los avisos se enviaron por correo a la dirección proporcionada por el Servicio Postal, no a la dirección en la que están registrados actualmente. Para asegurar que su capacidad de votar en futuras elecciones no se vea comprometida, cualquier elector que reciba una confirmación debe responder inmediatamente.
