Once an Open Records Request is submitted, which requires IT to perform a records search, the IT department will provide a cost estimate for programming and labor to search for the data requested. This cost estimate is based upon the fees approved by Fort Bend County Commissioners Court on Feb. 11, 2020, and here in Schedule A and Schedule B. The Cost estimate will need to be approved by the requestor and paid prior to the work being performed.
