The HOME Investment Partnerships program is designed to increase home ownership and affordable housing opportunities for low-and very low-income persons through tenant-based rental assistance, housing rehabilitation, rental housing development, assistance to first-time homebuyers, new construction, property acquisition, and relocation expenses.

Fort Bend County may use HOME funds for any of the above activities according to local housing needs. The HOME Investment Partnerships program assists in establishing new partnerships between states, localities, and non-profit organizations.
