Our office considers this act in the same light as if the person had walked into your store, office or home and stole your property. This case is filed in a district or county court as a theft.

- Checks for $100.00 - $749.99 = $2,000 fine and 6 months jail time
- Checks for $750.00 - $2,499.99 = $4,000 fine and 1 year jail time
