Wedding Ceremonies

  • By Appointment or Walk-In:
    Weddings are performed by appointment. Walk-ins may be accommodated based on the court’s schedule.
  • Private Venues:
    In some cases, the Judge may be available to perform weddings at private venues outside the courthouse.
  • Scheduling:
    To schedule your ceremony, please contact the JP4 court at 832-471-2550.
    Appointments require the marriage license, valid ID and cash payment to be presented in person.

Requirements for Scheduling

All couples must provide the following:

  1. A Texas Marriage License:
    • A 72-hour waiting period is required after the license is issued.
    • If applicable, present a signed Application for Waiver of the Seventy-Two Hour Waiting Period.
  2. Payment:
    Cash payment is required when scheduling the appointment.

Please arrive 5 minutes before your scheduled ceremony.

    A marriage license obtained in any Texas county allows you to marry anywhere in the state.
  • Photography and Videography:
    Cameras and video recordings are welcome and encouraged to capture your special moment.
