The Special Crimes Unit is a team of detectives devoted to investigating allegations of child sexual abuse, physical abuse and neglected juveniles. The investigation of crimes against children and elderly require highly specialized skills and training to execute.
These Detectives are a dedicated group of individuals who care about the welfare of children and holding those who harm children and elderly accountable for their actions. Investigations are conducted using a multidisciplinary approach in which investigators with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office collaborate with other law enforcement agencies as well as community partners to provide the most comprehensive services possible.
