Captain Scott Heinemeyer is a Commander in the Criminal Investigations Division of the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office. His duties include supervision of personnel assigned to the Homicide, Robbery, Special Crimes, Family Violence, Burglary, Theft, Fraud, and Fugitive Apprehension units, along with Crime Analysis and Victim’s Liaison personnel.
Captain Heinemeyer is a respected law enforcement professional who has served the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Office honorably in the Detention, Patrol, and Criminal Investigations Divisions since beginning his career with FBCSO in 1995.
During this time of service, Captain Heinemeyer has trained numerous personnel in the listed divisions, as well as serving on the Fort Bend County Regional SWAT Team for nearly twenty years.
Captain Heinemeyer has completed numerous certification courses, including Field Training Officer, Instructor, Advanced SWAT, and holds a Master Peace Officer’s license from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement.
