Electronic Certified Court Documents Overview
Fort Bend County Clerk Laura Richard has announced the official Phase One launch of a new, modernized document certification system designed to enhance security, accessibility, and convenience for the public. The secure program debuted on December 15, 2025, for the County Clerk’s Courts Division staff and represents a significant expansion of services aimed at protecting and providing access to certified court documents.
Phase one of the e-certification system allows walk-in customers at the counter to obtain self-validating, tamper-evident digital certified copies of court records. Stay tuned for further information as we continue to expand our certified document service to an online platform.
