Michelle Jochen began working in the District Clerk’s Office in 1992.  During her 21+ years in the District Clerk’s Office, Michelle has worked in various capacities including as a Customer Service Representative, Clerk III, Appeals Post Judgment Clerk, Family Division Supervisor, Criminal Division Supervisor and currently serves as Chief Deputy District Clerk.

Michelle has accumulated a vast amount of knowledge working for various offices and with hard work and true passion she has strived to make a difference as the Chief Deputy District Clerk of Fort Bend County, Texas. Her dedication and love for this office has always pushed her to improve personally and professionally and she will continue to use her strong management, supervision, and administrative skills to benefit the office as well as the citizens of Fort Bend County by continuing to improve the customer service provided by our office.

Jesus Acevedo has been a dedicated public servant with the Fort Bend County District Clerk's Office since 2005. Over the years, he advanced from Clerk to Division Supervisor to Chief Deputy District Clerk, demonstrating a strong commitment to public service and operational excellence.

Jesus has gained broad experience across the Family, Civil, Criminal, and Accounting divisions, and has also overseen court operations. In his current role, he ensures the District Clerk's Office remains in compliance with applicable statues, policies, and procedures.

He holds and Associate of Arts degree in Multidisciplinary Studies and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in criminal justice to further enhance his knowledge and contributions to the justice system.

Jesus remains committed to service the courts and citizens of Fort Bend County with integrity, accountability, and first-class customer service.

Haroon Mughal has been employed with the Fort Bend County District Clerk’s Office, where his journey has been marked by dedication, continuous growth, and exemplary service. His career spans over two decades with experience in information technology, planning, procurement, business operations and management, along with owning a business for over 12 years. He holds a Master’s Degree in Information Technology and a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and Computer Science, along with multiple educational certificates.   Since his employment at the District Clerk’s office, Haroon's unwavering commitment to excellence propelled him through various roles within the office, which includes positions such as Department Supervisor, Division Supervisor of Passports, and Division Supervisor of Media and Community Outreach.   Haroon’s philosophy, as quoted by Winston Churchill, We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give.”   In recognition of his leadership abilities, outstanding contributions, and his vast experience, Haroon has been promoted to Chief Deputy. With this new responsibility, Haroon remains steadfast in his commitment & dedication to setting future goals and achieving new targets.
