Community Areas:
Weight Room: As long as we are open to the public during community hours, the weight room is available for use. Come and use our various weight and cardio machines. Just wipe them down when you are done.
Game Room: This area has computers available with Wifi (password: FBC Guest). You can also utilize our poker, ping-pong, and billiards tables. Children must remain with adults to play in this space.
Lounge: Bring your dominoes or card games with friends or a book or puzzle by yourself and use this space to relax and fellowship. This space is sometimes rented during community hours. When it is roped off, please use other community areas to gather.
Flex Space: This space is flexible. We use it for things like job fairs, workshops, and group classes. This space is sometimes rented during community hours.
Gym: Our building revolves around the gymnasium floor. We have community concerts and productions, recreational sports (basketball, pickleball, and volleyball), and community events. The gym floor has limited rental availability during the week due to ongoing programming and training. Since we only have one full court any rentals during community hours are limited to 1/2 court. Generally, rentals of the gym are limited to Saturdays. First come, first serve. Check the rental page for more information.
Community Activities:
Landmark provides a variety of activities for the community to participate in each week. Through positive communication and consideration of each activity, our community gathers to enjoy each space. Landmark staff facilitates the use of the building by providing times for these activities. Should you want to begin another activity for the community to enjoy, contact our office (Monday - Friday, 8 - 4, @ 832-471-5200 or landmarkcc@fortbendcountytx.gov) to share your ideas to help our community grow.
Basketball: Basketball open gym is for the public to come in for pick up games. The rest of the basketball provided in the facility is organized for group training.
Volleyball: Volleyball open gym is for the public to come in and play recreationally. Volleyball training for small groups is not done during this time.
Pickleball: Landmark sets up 3 courts during this open gym. If you are learning, come early. Those who come to play are willing to help you learn how the game works, but be ready to join in. All levels come to play.
Small Group Training: This is basketball training that occurs on the court. If you are interested in participating, you can speak to the trainers that are using the space to determine how to join the group.
Training: Working to condition your body for better agility? The basketball courts are reserved for your use.
Line Dancing: From our opening in 2021, the community has readily asked for and supported our classes for line dancing. Keep supporting our volunteer teachers... and others that come that you want to stick around.
Group Classes: If you like support with your health journey, check out the group classes led by volunteer teachers. Bring donations to support the classes you enjoy. We are better together.
