Civil Matters
The Court does not accept filings.
All instruments must be filed through the County Clerk’s Office, all civil matters must be mediated prior to a trial request being made. All trial requests must be in writing to the Court by email Court6civil@fortbendcountytx.gov and must state the date the case was mediated. It is the responsibility of the party filing a motion to request a hearing date by email to Court6civil@fortbendcountytx.gov Judge Hrbacek requires an oral hearing on all motions for default judgments and motion for summary judgments.
Civil motions are heard on designated Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 1:30 PM
JP APPEALS
Associate Judge Lewis White hears Court 6’s JP Appeal hearings. Requests for hearings must be emailed to the court coordinator, Eralyn Fisher, at Eralyn.Fisher@fortbendcountytx.gov.
OCCUPATIONAL LICENSES
Associate Judge Lewis White hears Court 6’s Occupational License hearings on Fridays at 9:00 A.M. The deadline to schedule a hearing is 3:00 PM on the Wednesday preceding Friday's docket. No exceptions. Requests for hearings must be emailed to the court coordinator, Eralyn Fisher, at Eralyn.Fisher@fortbendcountytx.gov.
