Juvenile Matters

The County Courts at Law of Fort Bend County sit as the designated juvenile courts. Juvenile courts decide on matters involving adolescents who have not attained the age of majority. Matters handles by the juvenile courts include juvenile delinquency and issues involving adolescents in need of supervision. Juvenile court hearings take place in Courtroom 1-B and are formal proceedings.

 

Docket Times

  • Juvenile Disposition Dockets are heard on designated Mondays at 9:30 a.m.
  • Juvenile Status Dockets are heard on designated Mondays at 9:30 a.m.
  • Juvenile Bench (1:30) or Jury Trial (1:30) Dockets are held on designated Tuesdays.
  • Emergency Hearing Dockets are heard at the most earliest convenience of all parties.

Detention Hearings

Unless prior permission has been obtained, detention hearings are heard by Associate Judge Lewis White at the Legion Drive Annex, 117 Legion, Richmond, Texas 77469, on Mondays at 1:30 p.m., Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m., and Thursdays at 9:00 a.m. Please contact Coordinator Eralyn.Fisher@fbctx.gov or 281-341-4424, with questions regarding the Juvenile Detention Docket.
