Dr. Letosha Gale-Lowe

Dr. Letosha Gale-Lowe brings a wealth of experience and a passion for Public Health to Fort Bend County. She was most recently a Chief Physician with the Houston Health Department where she served as the clinical leader over four clinics including the health department’s HIV/STI and Tuberculosis clinics and served as the Co-Chief of Covid-19 operations where she spearheaded operations along with 10 Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs).

Prior to this position, she served diligently at the Memorial Hermann Medical Group, delivering comprehensive patient care in a primary care setting. Additionally, she has served as a Board Member and Chief of Staff at Oakbend Medical Center and as the Medical Director for the Fort Bend County Jail from 2005-2012.

Dr. Gale-Lowe earned her BA in Chemistry from Fisk University in Nashville, TN. She obtained her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Community Health at the University of Texas at Houston.

She is a proud Fort Bend County Resident who is thankful for the opportunity to make a difference where she lives and make a bigger impact through Public Health.
