Fort Bend County Social Services provides assistance to individuals and families who have no resources to a dignified burial or cremation for a decedent who passed away in Fort Bend County.
Application Process:
- Contact Fort Bend County Social Services at (281) 238-3502 to schedule an appointment and obtain information on eligibility requirements.
- Information will be collected by the caseworker regarding the decedent's income and other eligibility requirements at the time of the appointment.
- Walk-ins are welcome, however appointments are preferred.
- Legal next of kin can obtain an application by emailing IndigentBurial@fortbendcountytx.gov
