FRANK P. BELL, DEPUTY – Deputy Bell died on October 10, 1930 at the age of 55. Deputy Bell had stopped at an accident scene on US highway 90A while returning home with his wife following an outing in Houston. As he proceeded to render aide to several persons injured in the accident he was struck and killed by a passing vehicle.
